I CAN TALK! improves comprehension and expression of words and phrases, reading, writing, repetition and syntax.

Aimed at people with aphasia due to sudden brain damage, people with dysphasia and people with progressive primary aphasia.

Goals:
- Convert the method developed in the face-to-face sessions into an application.
- Encourage people with aphasia to improve their understanding and expression.
- Favor the social integration of people with aphasia.
- Facilitate the work of professionals who work the language with this group.
- Reduce the time and costs of therapies.

Contents:
I can talk! It has two levels,

LEVEL 1 includes three modules. It is aimed at severe to moderate aphasias.

- Module 1: TAKE SOMETHING with 29 games aimed at improving the naming and comprehension and expression of phrases related to drinks and food. It is the most basic level.

- Module 2: MEALS with 28 games. At this level, the vocabulary of food and drinks is expanded and first-person expressions are introduced, as well as negation and article. This module maintains and reinforces what was learned in the previous module and increases syntactic, semantic and phonological difficulty.

- Module 3: PLACES, with 24 games. A vocabulary related to places is introduced. The syntactic difficulty of the sentences is increased and new verbs are introduced.

LEVEL 2 includes two modules:

- Module 1: With the family.

- Module 2: With friends.

This second level works more vocabulary of nouns, verbs and adjectives. Work expressions with greater syntactic and semantic difficulty. It is aimed at moderate aphasias.
The practical exercises in the form of games facilitate the learning of words and phrases. Enter the prepositions "with", "a", "for" and the preposition "of". Work on reflexives and the formation of plurals.


I can talk! is an application created and designed by LOS PALABRAS PERDIDAS and has been tested with people with aphasia in collaboration with the ASOCIACIÓN AYUDA AFASIA.
