It is a multiplatform project, produced by the Instituto Tecnologico y Energías Renovables together with the Cabildo de Tenerife and developed from the script, idea and book "Guardianes de las 7 Llaves", by the Canarian / American writer and journalist María Rozman.
The project is innovative in various aspects. On the one hand, it is a series produced in the Canary Islands, by and for young people, which is broadcast through different platforms. And on the other, it is an educational project both in content and in production, since for its realization, filming, assembly, photography, editing, makeup, characterizations, etc., it has resorted to the support of Professional Training Institutes, with students Guided by professors and professionals in the field.
The series consists of 13 episodes that take the viewer to know different aspects of the culture, nature and history of the island of Tenerife. An unforgettable adventure, which can be seen in a traditional way on television or as an interactive experience through this application. In the case of following the series through mobile devices, the viewer has the option of choosing between two possible endings for most of the episodes.
In addition, the application offers the opportunity to live your own adventure through a series of clues located in different parts of the island, which, if found, qualify the new "cyberguardian" to participate in a raffle that could make him one of the Guardians in an upcoming season. The instructions to find these clues are found in this application, and with them it is easier to choose the correct option in each chapter.
The collaboration of institutions, municipalities, transport agencies, the environment, coasts, museums, official organizations, private companies and professionals has been essential to make this innovative low-cost production a reality.
