The El Borge Guide app is a free tool part of the Unified Digital Street Map of Andalusia (CDAU) project and developed by the Institute of Statistics and Cartography of Andalusia (IECA). This app offers detailed information about El Borge, a picturesque village located in the Axarquía region of Málaga, known as the "Villa de la Pasa" (Raisin Village). Its highlights include:

History and Heritage: This municipality dates back to the Muslim era and came under Castilian rule in 1487. The impressive Church of Nuestra Señora del Rosario, built in 1505 on the site of a former mosque and combining late Gothic, Mudejar, Renaissance, and Baroque styles, has been declared a Site of Cultural Interest. Next to it is a 16th-century crypt, now open to visitors. At the entrance to the village, the symbolic Arco de la Pasa (Raisin Arch) stands out, with murals dedicated to Martín Vázquez Ciruela and Ibn al-Baitar. You can also discover numerous historic fountains, such as the Fuente del Cuerno (of Arab origin), the Fuente del Vendimiador (Vinegar Fountain), and the Fuente de las Tres Aguas (Three Waters Fountain).

Activities and Routes: The surrounding area invites you to explore the old town, amid cobblestone streets, whitewashed houses, mosaics, and viewpoints with panoramic views of the vineyards and hills of the Axarquía. There are several hiking trails: the Ruta del Cerro El Ejido (4 km, with views of La Maroma and Puerto de Cútar), the Ruta de la Romería (~4.6 km), and circular trails such as the Ruta Charata (16 km) or the Ruta Santo Pitar (21 km), perfect for exploring the agricultural and natural landscape.

Local Gastronomy: El Borge is famous for its muscatel raisins, traditionally made and with a designation of origin, which have been a staple of local culture for centuries (recognized by the FAO as GIAHS).
