In addition to the modular structure of RECOM-GRIPS, complementary apps enable new, promising ways of working, both across sectors and when implementing an all-encompassing “patient journey”. In addition to the wound management module in the digital care documentation RECOM-GRIPS, there is the option of mobile wound image capture via the WundApp.
To do this, install the RECOM-WundApp on a smartphone and start the mobile miracle recording. In the app, you simply select the respective patient using a previously generated and time-limited QR code, take the wound scan and can then transfer it directly to the RECOM-GRIPS wound documentation in the respective digital patient documentation.
Within wound management in RECOM-GRIPS, you can measure the recorded wound directly and document it digitally according to the criteria. Of course, the system is protected by various security mechanisms. The data is protected from unauthorized access using a PIN and encrypted storage/transmission.
The WundApp only works in conjunction with the digital care documentation RECOM-GRIPS from Thieme RECOM and cannot be used independently.
Facilities that work with RECOM-GRIPS can license the app for mobile wound image capture.
