The Digi-Smart bench is specifically designed to provide a hands-free adjustment to the bench’s backrest. The bench is not meant to lift the user from lie-flat position. The user is expected to move his back towards his desired angle and the backrest follows along and vice-versa. The electro-Mechanical device’s dynamic loading capability is much less than a weightlifter’s weight since it is operating at an angle. However its static loading capability allows the user to perform his/ her weight lifting exercises without the risk of damaging the mechanism.
