The world is shrouded in a thick fog, known as the "Foundation Kingdom" that obscures all but the immediate surroundings of the player. This fog is the result of a great war that ravaged the land and left it uninhabitable for centuries. The player takes on the role of a red-haired, ruggedly dressed young man who is determined to discover and reclaim the lost territories. He sets out on a journey to clear the fog, one tree at a time.

As the player cuts down trees, he discovers new lands and encounters the monsters that have taken over. These monsters, twisted by the fog and the war, sow chaos and destruction wherever they go. The player must fight them to reclaim the land and bring light back to the world.

After clearing a few trees, the player discovers an abandoned lumberjack's hut. He repairs it, and using the gold he has collected, hires a worker to help him cut down more trees. This worker provides the player with a steady stream of logs, which can be sold at the market for gold.

As the player continues to clear the fog, he comes across a farm overrun by monsters. After defeating them, he finds fields filled with nutritious carrots and cabbage. These resources provide the player with the sustenance he needs to continue on his journey.

As the player progresses through the game, he discovers new resources such as iron ore, diamonds, and precious metals. He also discovers new buildings like blacksmiths and mines. These buildings allow the player to upgrade his weapons, armor, and tools.

As the player continues to push back the fog, he discovers a cave from which monsters begin to emerge every night. These monsters attack the player's settlement and destroy everything in their path. The player must hire mercenaries and build towers to defend himself and his settlement from these attacks.

The player's ultimate goal is to reclaim the land, clear the fog, and restore the world to its former glory. He must overcome many challenges and obstacles along the way, but with determination and skill, he will succeed. The player's journey will take him through treacherous forests, dark caves, and scorched deserts as he fights to bring light back to the world and restore peace to the land.
