ComPaRe EMA (Ecological Momentary Assessment) is a mobile application designed to measure, in real-life situations, the health status, symptoms, emotions, and life context of people with chronic diseases. It sends brief questions, at regular or random intervals, to which participants respond directly via their smartphone. By collecting this data in real time, the application helps limit recall bias and increase the ecological validity of the measurements, providing a detailed and dynamic view of patients' daily experiences.
The application is part of ComPaRe, the Community of Patients for Research, supported by the Assistance Publique – Hôpitaux de Paris and the Université Paris Cité. ComPaRe is an independent public research platform, with no industrial funding. Anyone living with one or more chronic diseases can participate by registering at: https://compare.aphp.fr
