Radiological digital health booklet for patients. RADIOSCAR allows everyone to record and keep the history of their diagnostic medical imaging examinations. The application provides a global, fast and centralized view of medical imaging examinations to monitor the repetition and exposure to ionizing radiation. RADIOSCAR aims to help prevent the risk of overexposure to X-rays: reduce exposure without compromising diagnosis. If certain types of imaging are a source of exposure, as soon as the examinations are medically justified, the benefits always outweigh the risks! This information can be shared with health professionals, especially when medical imaging examinations need to be repeated as part of chronic disease monitoring.

With RADIOSCAR you can:
- manage several profiles for all members of the family,
- record your exams by anatomical zone (head, neck, thorax, abdomen, upper limb, lower limb) and by type of examination (radiography, scanner, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine),
- estimate your exposure dose, directly calculated from the dose information provided when performing the medical imaging examination or evaluated according to the type and area of ​​the examination automatically calculated if dosimetric information are not available,
- keep pictures of the results and the report of each registered examination,
- find information on the different types of medical imaging exams and the most common questions related to exposure to ionizing radiation in the "Did you know" section.

RADIOSCAR is a project realized by the actors of the OSCAR Rare Diseases Health Network, the national network of actors of rare diseases of bone, calcium and cartilage. RADIOSCAR was designed by a multidisciplinary team of health professionals (pediatric radiology, medical physics, genetics ...) in collaboration with patients.
