"I am a carpenter, but my second passion is music and eclectic sound. It's an affirmation of my humanity and my creativity " Fily Sound Born in Dakar, Fily Sound was intoxicated very early by the music of Youssou N'Dour, Boussa N'Gom, Ismae Lo, Toure Kunda, and over time, reggae became his main inspiration. He leaves Senegal for France at the age of 16, learns the trade of carpenter and will become independent craftsman at 33 years old. He is father of 3 children and lives on the basin of Arcachon. Today, mixing his African influences with funk, rhythm and blues and soul, Fily has created a style of his own to share his joys, his sorrows, his hopes and his revolts. He invites us into a poetic universe where everyone can find his place, whether on French texts or on the poetry of Wolof his native language. Fily's musical journey is an incentive to believe in conscience and brotherhood.
