The IFIP toolbox is intended for pig farmers and animal husbandry technicians.
This toolbox includes the following 6 applications:

1. SIM'Band Band conduct: calculation of the number of rooms and the number of seats required depending on the conduct (number of bands) or the interval between bands. The application also provides the average occupancy rate for each room.

2. SIM'Air Ventilation sizing - two modes of use are available:
- in the case of the construction of a room or a building, the application makes it possible to calculate the air inlet surface required throughout the air circuit (general air inlet, air inlet air in the attic, air inlet in the room, surface of the chimney / extraction duct).
- in the case of an existing farm, the application will be used to quickly diagnose whether the air intakes are sufficient or not.

3. SIM’Heating Heating sizing - two modes of use are available:
- in rapid diagnostic mode for an existing farm
- in heating power sizing mode.

4. SIM'Equip Equipment consistency - the purpose of this tool is to assess, for each physiological stage, whether access to food is sufficient (length of trough), whether access to water is consistent (number of drinkers, height of drinkers, flow rate of drinkers) and whether the lighting meets regulatory requirements.

5. SIM'Prej Economic impact of reproduction accidents: assess the damages on the margin linked to losses in breeding linked to reproduction accidents (losses of a piglet or a pig, a pregnant or lactating sow , empty sow on ultrasound, abortion, return to heat) or before setting up a change in behavior affecting sow reproduction ... The loss of margin associated with each injury is calculated: margin on feed cost, renewal and health spending.

6. SIM'Faf Calculation of the interest price of raw materials in pig feed: the breeder checks that a raw material available on the farm or on the market is of interest or not in its incorporation into the formulas . The formula is optimized: list of interest prices of raw materials, composition of the calculated formula and its nutritional characteristics (Net Energy, in digestible Lysine, in Phosphorus, etc.).
