DESCRIPTION
Through 30 original texts, the Differentiated Reading Workshops workbook allows CM students, whatever their reading level, to work on the essential strategies to implement to learn to read a text fluently. The same base of text and educational sheet is available in 3 levels of difficulty, with more or less reading aids and words depending on the level chosen.
Each sequence looks the same:
A text that will serve as a basis for reading. Several types of texts (narrative, descriptive, dialogue, cooking recipes, etc.) are offered throughout the pages to familiarize the student with different genres and registers.
Three fluency exercises: reading tool words quickly; read syllables and words formed from these syllables; read words from the text mixed with words that resemble them.
Three reading games: circle the word that corresponds to the image; complete a word with the missing syllable so that the word makes sense; find the different spellings of the same sound.
Three comprehension questions related to the text.
A video projection application is available on Jocastore; it allows you to view and listen to all the texts, project the sheets and their corrections, and add notes, hide or highlight elements via the graphic toolbox.
