Lone Worker Alarm System (LWAS) APP ON SMARTPHONE
A worker is considered isolated when they perform a task alone, out of sight or hearing of another employee for a certain period of time, and when they have no recourse in the event of an accident or illness. The longer a worker is isolated, the greater the risk. Location is also an aggravating factor.
MONITORING AND LOCATING LONE WORKERS
The my Tamat LWAS app transforms your smartphone into a Lone Worker Alarm System (LWAS), ideal for protecting mobile workers. It integrates with the centralized Smart TAMAT Advance web platform for simplified management and updating of your entire smartphone fleet.
Benefit from an intuitive user interface and six configurable detection modes for personalized safety: loss of verticality, immobility, impact, rollover, tearing, or simply pressing the SOS button. Our fully customizable configuration minimizes irrelevant alerts. The application is available on Android smartphones.
In the event of an alarm triggered via the my Tamat PTI app on the smartphone, Smart TAMAT Advance instantly identifies the worker in distress, the nature of the alert, and their location (depending on the telecom environment). This crucial information is disseminated to designated response teams, thus optimizing the speed and efficiency of emergency response.
Accessibility Feature (Permanent SOS Button)
To improve accessibility and responsiveness in emergency situations, our application offers the ability to display a permanent SOS button directly on the device's main screen. This feature, implemented using Android's AccessibilityService API, allows users to quickly alert emergency services with a simple tap, even when the application is not in the foreground. Activation of this service is offered during the application configuration step and requires user authorization.
