OwnYourCash: what is it?

Access to capital for projects co-funded by women is notoriously insufficient:

OYC is born from the observation that women entrepreneurs suffer from a real deficit of financing their projects, and in particular capital. Women's projects that are less well funded, if not funded at all, lead to a real waste of economic potential.

Help women become more economically independent, beyond taboos:

For Imène Maharzi, founder of OwnYourCash: "Without real economic equality, the equality of rights between men and women remains an illusion". Equality passes here by the wages of course, but also by the facility to finance their projects. In short, the ability to mobilize money to guarantee them real freedom to act and carry out their personal, professional or entrepreneurial projects.

In order to respond to this dual problem, OwnYourCash's mission is to stimulate women's economic independence. By opening a taboo loophole around money, by gradually forming, new opportunities will open up for women to increase their current and future wealth, and become economically more independent. And by working at the source to train individual investors, able to invest in projects co-founded by women.

The platform offers two main components, distributed online and via face-to-face workshops:

- the first is dedicated to budget and financial education

- the second is devoted to Business Angel's activity.

By forming the eyes of a new generation of Business Angels, OwnYourCash allows them to access a value hitherto hidden behind an opaque curtain, made of habits and prejudices. The educational platform provides the keys to fully appreciate the potential for underestimated investment opportunities, especially when the entrepreneur or company differs from the "standard models" of popular start-ups.
