Happy Dhanteras is also spelled Dhanteras or Dhanteras, is a multi-day Hindu festival celebrated in the autumn every year.

Dhana Trayodashi or Dhanteras is the first day of the Indian Diwali and Nepalese Tihar Festival. The festival is known as "Dhanatrayodashi" or "Dhanvantari Trayodashi". It is celebrated on the thirteenth lunar day of Krishna Paksha (dark fortnight) in the Vikram Samvat Hindu calendar month of Ashwin.


It is observed for different reasons and celebrated differently in various parts of the Indian subcontinent. Theoretically, there are four seasonal Dhanteras. However, in practice, it is the post-monsoon autumn festival called Sharad Dhanteras that is the most observed in the honor of the divine feminine Devi.
