Repentance:
1 - “Indeed, God Almighty extends His Hand at night so that the sinners of the day may repent, and He extends His Hand during the day so that the sinners of the night may repent, until the sun rises from the west.” ... [narrated by Muslim]

2 - God Almighty said: “Oh, son of Adam, as long as you call upon Me and beg of Me, I will forgive you for what you did and I do not care. O son of Adam, if your sins reached the clouds of the sky and then you sought forgiveness from Me, I would forgive you. I will come to you with an offering of forgiveness.” [Sahih al-Tirmidhi]

3 - “The one who repents from sin is like one who has not sinned.” ... [Sahih Ibn Majah]

4 - If you erred until your sins reached the sky, and then repented, you would be forgiven. [Sahih Ibn Majah].



Going out in pursuit of knowledge:
God Almighty said: {God will raise those who have believed among you and those who were given knowledge by degrees.}

5 - “No man goes out of his house seeking knowledge except that God will facilitate for him a path to Paradise.” [Sahih Whole].

6 - “Whoever goes to the mosque with no desire but to learn good or teach him, he will have the reward of a pilgrim, complete with his Hajj.” ... [Sahih Targhib wa't-Tarheeb].

7 - “He who goes out to seek knowledge is in the path of God until he returns.” [Sahih al-Tirmidhi]. 8 - “Whoever God wants good for, He gives him understanding of the religion.” [Sahih Ibn Majah].
