Monit Retro is an application developed for real-time monitoring of the location of backhoe loaders used in the service of Sulgás, Companhia de Gás do Rio Grande do Sul.

The application aims to support companies and excavator drivers in activity to warn, notify and monitor their position in relation to the Sulgás natural gas network, to reduce the risk of incurring damage to these pipeline infrastructures during the operation of the machinery. , which will also be monitored for support and monitoring by Sulgás' asset integrity teams.
It is used in partnership with road works and installation companies with Sulgás with a common objective of promoting safety.

Main Features:

• Real-Time Monitoring: The application uses the smartphone's GPS to monitor the backhoe's location during operation in the field, transmitting positions in real time, even when the app is in the background.

• Smart notifications: Monit Retro shows notifications for violations or changes in monitoring status:

• Active monitoring notification.
• Violation alert, shown when the backhoe remains close to the network for an excessive time and the situation is considered a violation.
• Notification to the operator when monitoring is active after business hours (6pm).
• Notification of automatic monitoring shutdown at 11:59 pm to preserve the device's battery.
