Burj Khalifa has a height of 828 meters and is a usable building with 160 floors. After the 150th floor of Burj Khalifa, the remaining floors were made of steel. This made it the first building in the world to continue with a steel construction on a reinforced concrete mass. In addition, none of the façades of the building were designed as flat in order to minimize the wind loads on the facades of Burj Khalifa. The company management also changed the name of the tower to Burj Khalifa as a gesture. Burj Khalifa, whose exterior was completed in September 2009, was officially opened in January 2010.

Burj Khalifa was built in reinforced concrete up to the 150th floor. The next floors were built with steel construction, taking into account the weather events. The building, which looks like a needle, does not have straight walls. The corners are not sharp but oval-shaped. It was built as a complex building, not for single use.
