The Vespa was developed from a simple motorcycle model, the scooter. In 1946, the Italian Piaggio & Co. Spa. produced by the company. The Vespa is one of the most essential and best motorcycles in history.

The solution came from Piaggio's 2nd generation owner, Enrico Piaggio; "Vespa".

The first Piaggio scooter was designed in 1945 with the codename MP5 (Moto Piaggio no.5). The other name of this model was Paperino, the name of the character Donald Duck in Italian. Enrico Piaggio didn't like the work of the designers, who initially worked for the aerospace industry, and promptly ordered a new prototype model. In this way, the first prototype was put on the museum shelves. The new design was completed in 1946 and was born on April 23, 1946, at precisely 12:00, when the patent office in Florence patented it.

The biggest advertisement for Vespa was Roman Vacation in 1952 when Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck traveled across Rome with Vespa. Over 100,000 Vespas have been sold since this movie.
