On May 25, 2018 implemented the most important piece of European legislation on the protection of personal data. The General Regulation for Privacy (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) replaces the EU directive on the protection of the 1995 data (95/46 / EC). The Regulation reinforces the rights of individuals in relation to their personal data and seeks the integration of data protection laws across Europe, irrespective of the place of processing of such data.
