The interactive application w4life.gr aims to make easier the daily lives of patients with metastatic breast cancer, where they are in Greece and to help them communicate with doctors, hospitals, patients' associations and social services. The application provides access mapped services, such as doctors, hospitals, patient associations, pain centers, social pharmacies, clinics and social social grocery stores across the country. If the user chooses, the application captures the map services available to small radius of the point where the user is located. Moreover, it supports reminders (notifications) for scheduled medical appointments or scheduled treatments, and if the user so chooses supports the communication with doctors. The application also enables recording daily activities, side effects of drugs and emotional or physical changes by answering simple questions. The user has the ability to save for his own use relevant information or to send them to the doctor.
