The "Lose Diabetes" app was jointly developed by the School of Nursing of the University of Hong Kong and TELI (Technology-Enriched Learning Initiative). It aims to help users control weight and prevent diabetes by establishing a healthy lifestyle.
Main functions of the "Loss Diabetes" App:
1. Record and manage health indexes, including weight, waist circumference, blood sugar, blood lipids and blood pressure, etc.
2. Record and self-examine your lifestyle, including exercise and eating habits
3. Set and track health goals
4. Provides an evidence-based online course on "Losing Diabetes". The video content focuses on healthy living knowledge and skills that help control weight and prevent diabetes, and is accompanied by short exercise videos of different intensities to encourage users to establish a healthy lifestyle, control weight and prevent diabetes
