Missions are an ordinance of Jesus Christ, who before ascending to heaven after his resurrection, guided his disciples to go around the world, to carry the gospel and its message. Missionary actions and social projects are the fulfillment of this ordinance in a practical and effective way, with visible results in the transformation of society and people to whom these initiatives reach.
