The Interactive Map of Climate Change (MICA) of the Araucanía Region offers the opportunity to build scientific knowledge from an integrated perspective and understand some of the scope, limitations and implications of science and technology in society. MICA's perspective makes it possible to make visible the various processes that relate scientific and technological knowledge to the construction of society, and vice versa, allowing them to engage with critical thinking in daily life and contribute to the exercise of participatory and conscious citizenship. Educationally communicating scientific knowledge and technological development within the framework of Climate Change is essential for the future well-being of society, since the adaptations, mitigations in this area will allow progress in appropriate measures for the conservation and protection of the environment of the Region of La Araucanía.
