Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) Malang State University (UM) was formed with the aim of improving public information services. In accordance with what is mandated in Law Number 14 of 2008 concerning Openness of Public Information, UM strives to provide information that is accurate, precise and easily accessed by information seekers, particularly related to the institutionality of the State University of Malang.

The UM e-PPID application is a publicity publication tool for public information to facilitate information seekers related to Malang State University (UM). This application provides types of information, information that must be provided and announced periodically, information that must be announced immediately, information that must be available at any time, and information that is excluded. This application also provides an online information request feature that allows users to get desired public information and some other information related to Malang State University (UM).
