The Missionary Church of the Provider God was born in a prayer meeting held at the home of the brothers Mr. José Adeildo da Silva Junior and Mrs. Romilde Margarida Soram da Silva.

The foundation of the church took place on 03/17/1996, starting a new stage. On Thursdays, the Prayer Service began at the residence of the couple Edmir Leme Miranda and Benedita Cristina Miranda.

In March 2005, the church joined the CIBI Independent Baptist Churches, changing its name to Igreja Independente Missionária do Deus Provedor. Today, we are known as Igreja Batista Deus Provedor and we are located at Rua José Rosolem, 72 Jardim Londres - Campinas/SP.

We are a church that believes in the manifestation of God's presence. We believe that God's presence can be felt in our lives on a daily basis, and we are committed to seeking that manifestation in everything we do.

We use the Scriptures to guide our path, we pray fervently, and we seek the teachings of the Holy Spirit. We are eager to experience God's presence and share that blessing with those around us.

Our mission

To be a relevant church based on intentional multiplication and founded on the Great Commission: calling, welcoming, perfecting and winning souls for Jesus in our city and to the ends of the earth through relationships and discipleship. Also, fighting for the unity of the church as the body of Christ and expanding the kingdom of God in homes.

Our vision

To be a church that glorifies the name of God, that cultivates communion with one another and fulfills the idea of ​​Jesus and his principles through prayer, discipling evangelization, planting churches, forming leaders and exercising compassion and grace, in addition to of this, in view of the continuity of the work of Christ through the spiritual gifts.

Our values

We are committed to transparency, to Christian ethics and to always and only doing what is based on the Word of God, without letting ourselves be carried away by vain philosophies and subtleties (Col. 2.8). We value each individual as a being created and loved by God. We respect all beliefs and religions, understanding that God grants each one free will, and that each citizen will give an account of himself to God (Rom. 14.12). We love the sinner, but we do not condone sin (Rom. 3:23; 6:23).

Our Purpose

To be a contagious church that spreads the gospel message and shares the love of God with everyone around them. Developing a welcoming environment where those who walk through the door are embraced with love and attention. A contagious church that has the qualities of being transparent, authentic and contextualized are some of the important characteristics to express the true purpose of the church: serving others and witnessing the transforming power of the Gospel.
