Welcome to the official DIT Tripura app. Directorate of Information Technology, Govt. of Tripura was formed in the year 1999 to initiate IT Activities in serious manner. Broad objective of formation of Directorate of IT is as under:

1. To implement e-Governance Projects for efficient and effective delivery of government services, improving revenue collections, improving financial management and better dissemination of information on government functions.
2. To organize training programmes for increasing IT literacy among the officers and staff of State Government.
3. To act as a Nodal Agency for coordinating the implementation of NeGP & other e-Governance project in the State.
4. To take steps for promotion of IT education in schools and colleges of Tripura and also for implementation of IT manpower in Tripura.

The DIT, Govt. of Tripura has been working closely with NIC, BSNL and other State Government Departments to achieve the above objectives.
