Government of Madhya Pradesh has a target to skill 4.8 million youth. The department of Technical Education and Skill Development through its network of government and private Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and 135 Skill Development Centers (SDCs) has been instrumental in achieving a large proportion of this target. To take skilling to a next level, participation of industry in designing the curriculum and training youth in these institutions has been identifies as a priority.
