Krishna is the deity worshiped by Hindus. He is known as the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

He is Sri Radhika Prannath, the presiding deity of Vrindavan. According to the Hindu calendar, his birth anniversary is celebrated every year on the eighth day (Janmashtami) of Krishnapaksha in the month of Bhadra.
