The GeM Sahay mobile application enables you to apply for and avail short term financing offered by Banks and NBFCs such as Kotak Mahindra Bank, UGRO Capital, 121 Finance on the Purchase Orders that you receive on the GeM portal. This program has participation from some of the top lenders in the country. Lenders offer terms with interest rates from 12% to 20% per annum (based on your credit profile), with tenures ranging from 60 to 120 days and upto 90% of the Purchase Order value. The application process is entirely digital and if approved by the lender, the loan will be disbursed in as quickly as 10 minutes.

An example of loan you could get at GeM Sahay is shared below

Loan Amount - Rs 20000, Interest Rate - 15% per annum, Loan Tenure - 85 days, Interest Rate - Rs 699, Total Repayment - Rs 20699

Currently this service is only available to Sole Proprietors registered on the GeM Platform.

In order to be able to register for the service you need to “opt in” for the GeM Sahay service in the profile section of your GeM portal account.

The service through the app will be free of charge for you, and no fee whatsoever apart from the interest rate being charged by the lenders would be payable.
