Active aging, as defined by the World Health Organization, is the process in which opportunities for health, participation, safety and lifelong learning are optimized in order to improve the quality of life of people as they age.

To promote active and healthy aging, health systems must have a complete life cycle perspective and orient their services to health promotion, disease prevention and equitable access to both primary care and long-term care quality.

«In Good Age - Professionals» is a mobile application for the training of health professionals and the generation of recommendations for the promotion of healthy aging for autonomous, frail and dependent people.

Through this mobile application, the group of Primary Care health professionals can exercise in the "Health Examination for People over 65 years of age", a program included in the comprehensive health plans of the Ministry of Health and Families. For this, they have activities and challenges in a gamified format that will allow them to develop skills in a simple and enjoyable way.

The application also allows Primary Care health personnel to recommend activities for the promotion of active aging to their elderly patients. For this, the mobile application "In Good Age - Professionals" has a communication system with the mobile application "In Good Age - Older."

In this application you will find:

- Resources for skills training in promoting active and healthy aging.

- Resource and activity recommendation system for the elderly, which can be accessed from their own version of the mobile application.

"In Good Age - Professionals" is part of the project "Promotion of active aging through digital solutions", an initiative of the Andalusian Regional Government's Ministry of Health and Families.
