BorderGuessr is very simple and intuitive: given a country (presumably chosen at random), the first player is asked to
provide a neighboring state. The opponent must, in turn, indicate a neighboring state not yet mentioned, and so on. The game ends when one of the two players makes a mistake or when a deadlock occurs.
BorderGuessr is designed for both those new to the world of political geography and those who wish to test their knowledge and potentially improve it. Three difficulty levels are available:
• beginner: the idea here is to ensure that the intelligent agent wins only when forced to do so, i.e., there are no other options;
• intermediate;
• expert.
