Freq finder is an unofficial tool used to help you find your local Triple J radio frequency. This app was built after being on the road for a while and unable to easily figure out what town and what frequency was closest to tune in to.
Credits:
Triple J and ABC
Radio tower coordinates were courtesy of Australian Communications and Media Authority database (https://web.acma.gov.au/offline-rrl/).
Radio coverage estimates using ABC Reception Coverage Estimator (http://reception.abc.net.au/Reception.aspx) or the Longley-Rice irregular terrain model courtesy of the implementation by the Communications Research Centre Canada (http://lrcov.crc.ca/main/)
Names of stations are as per the official Triple J app.
Built with sloppy angularJS, Ionic framework, Cordova, geolocation plugin, Google Maps Javascript API, Snazzy Maps for CSS, VS 2015 as IDE.
I'm hoping future releases of the official Triple J app will include something to make this app redundant.
