Frugal Innovations Pvt Ltd has developed Tracking App to be used with Webapp https://transfrugal.com intended for customer and https://partner.transfrugal.com intended for partner. Customer webapp helps in locating vehicles nearby, establish contact through video call wit the partner who has logged on to his webapp to check the nature and size of goods and authenticate the trip using start and stop otp.
Locating vehicles such as Ambulance, Auto, Taxi, goods carrier (SCV/LCV/MCV/HCV/Trailer), towing van etc is possible in real time on a google map. Webapp shows the location of the vehicle/facilities that are close to the origin / pickup point / current location of customer on a google maps integrated in our webapp. For locating transport vehicles the customer has to enter origin and destination and select a particular category of vehicle (for eg: Ambulance/Auto/Taxi/Goods etc). A video calling button is provided against each vehicle/facility in the list.
Contacting vehicle owners : Using Video call functionality, the customer initiates a call to contact the vehicle / facilities owner. Vehicle / facility owner receives the call where the origin (and destination for transport vehicle) can be seen. If the owner is interested in going to the destination, he will pick up the call else he will decline. Customer then contacts other vehicle owners from the list. Vehicle owner interested in going to the destination will pick up the call. In case of goods vehicle where the owner is required to check the size and nature of goods, video call can be initiated else for other category of vehicles/facility audio call is sufficient.
Obtaining quotations: Once the vehicle/facility owner knows the customers’ requirements, he then offers a price. This conversation over video/audio, as the case may be, is saved as a media file(MP4) for reference and may be considered as an equivalent of paper-based quotation.
Enable ordering: Customer will proceed to select the lowest offer. He then calls the owner with lowest quote and request to send the vehicle/service.
Assigning a vehicle: After receipt of order confirmation from the customer as in sr.no(d) above, owner assigns the vehicle to that particular customer id. The status changes from ‘search vehicle’ to ‘arriving for pick-up’.
Authentication: Every trip from origin to destination is a transaction that can be authenticated using START OTP and STOP OTP. Once assigned-vehicle reaches the customer (origin), the driver requests the customer to share START OTP. After driver enters the START OTP status changes to ‘in-transit’. Once driver arrives at the destination, he contacts the customer to confirm his arrival at destination. The customer contacts the receiver of the goods and advises to verify the good. Driver requests to share STOP OTP. After the STOP OTP is entered the status of trip changes to ‘Delivered’.
Trip History: Contains a list of completed trips showing date and time location address of pickup and destination for future reference.
BENEFITS
Webapp provides customers residing or having business operations in villages and towns to book a nearest vehicle of any type of vehicle round the clock resulting in quick arrival of vehicle at low cost due to proximity of vehicle to the customer. Owners of trucks can be contacted as per the required size of the truck till a lowest quote is obtained.
Emergencies services such as ambulance, road side assistance, towing van are presently not available online. Webapp will provide an online visibility in real time round the clock.
Vehicle/facility owners in villages are dependent on off-line business. Webapp will add to their business by facilitating their online presence.
Truck owner/driver need not waste time and fuel to visit a customer for checking the size and nature of goods in order to provide a quote.
