From where came this aircraft ?
What is the country of this Company?
I don't know this company?
I don't know this flag drawn on aircraft tail? ...
As a travaller on an airport or a controller or a pilot or simply by curiosity you may be asked these questions many times and you didn't get the answer!
Install "AIRCRAFT NATIONALITY" app and get the answer.
By simply tapping aircraft registration drawn on the tail (for exemple : TS-IMW ) and clicking on the button search you get the country where the aircraft is registred!
An aircraft registration, alternatively called a tail number, is a code unique to a single aircraft, required by international convention to be marked on the exterior of every civil aircraft.
History:
The concept of nationality for aircraft was adapted from maritime law where the national flag is used to indicate a ship’s country of registration[1]. The issues of aircraft nationality and registration were considered during the International Air Navigation Conference held in Paris in 1910. Despite the absence of a final signed agreement at the end of that Conference, the principles of the nationality of aircraft and its registration were formally incorporated into a Convention Relating to the Regulation of Aerial Navigation, signed in 1919 (“Paris Convention”).
So enjoy the app and thanks in advance for your comments.
