Matsya Odisha is an initiative of Directorate of Fisheries under the Fisheries & Animal Resources Development Department of Govt. of Odisha to create and maintain a unified & verified source of basic information related to fishers, which can be used by multiple departments and relevant stakeholders. The information of all fishers in the database such as demographic, residential, bank account, aquaculture and capture fisheries details verified by field level government officials are stored in the database. The portal will help the Government to identify and select genuine beneficiaries, provide them timely assistance under government schemes & ensure proper delivery of services for the fisher folk of the State.
