The RDF App is designed for all technical personnel engaged in the field in maintenance or simple inspection of railway systems in operation.
Intervening directly on a system requires access to a whole series of technical documentation - such as manuals, drawings, diagrams, component serial numbers - relating to the equipment and instrumentation installed therein. When it comes to paper documentation, this can be time-consuming - and even when the documentation is available in digital format, it is often not "just a click away" for the maintainer.
The RDF App provides you with the right solution: a few seconds to scan the QR-code / RFID applied to the equipment, select the document you are looking for and view it on your device.
RDF also allows you to save photos associated with the equipment, which will be viewable by other colleagues if enabled to maintain the same system.
