The increase in temperatures and the decrease in useful rainfall are leading to an increase in the irrigation needs of crops. Irrigation has therefore become an essential practice for obtaining economically sustainable and high quality productions.
The water distributed to the agricultural companies by the Reclamation Consortia is therefore becoming an increasingly valuable and irreplaceable resource, to be used even more efficiently than in the past.
With the IRRIFRAME Service, the ANBI and the Consorzi di Bonifica together with the water supply all the information for its prudent and efficient use, with the aim of reaching consistent water savings while maintaining high, or even improving, productivity of crops.
The portal offers functional services to indicate to farmers through reclamation Consortia the precise moment of irrigation and the volume of water, based on data of the soil / plant / atmosphere water balance and the economic convenience of the irrigation intervention.
Irriframe is an ANBI project (National Association of Consortia for the management and protection of the territory and irrigation water www.anbi.it), the technical-agronomic coordination is of the CER (Consortium for the Emiliano Romagnolo Channel www.consorziocer.it)
From 2019 the operational management of the service and its IT development are entrusted to AGRONICA group (www.agronica.it)
