It is a municipal project for the protection of identity heritage, the preservation of the historic center and tourism development. The museum is located outdoors, in the oldest part of the village and the Marri hamlet and consists of old doors painted by prominent artists. Each door reproduces, with the style and painting of each artist, a different theme, which is part of the history and culture of this country. A panel with an explanation of the painting and the episode depicted is affixed to each door. Hence the name "Le Porte Narranti", because the visitor can get excited looking at the works of art and imagining characters and events from the past. In the alleys of San Benedetto Ullano you can hear the echoes of history, voices that tell of a glorious past and an important present.
