The BallanNET system consists of hardware accessories (BallanNET HUB and RIOB),
a BallanNET cloud-server and an application (BallanNET app) for smartphones. BallanNET app establishes connections via BallanNET cloud-server with the BallanNET HUBs, which communicate via radio (bidirectionally in a dedicated coding protocol) with the RIOB peripheral devices.
BallanNET HUB requires the presence of an internet connection with 2.4GHz WiFi.
BallanNET app allows you to configure an administrator and multiple users and define usage scenarios.
To protect the integrity and confidentiality of the data exchanged, BallanNET uses the HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure) protocol and a dedicated cryptographic protocol.
To protect the user's privacy, the BallanNET cloud-server will only retain a name, a password and a code generated by the BallanNET app called BallanNET code.
The username and password are imaginary and constitute the user's account: by re-entering these credentials and the BallanNET code in a new smartphone the previous smartphone will be disabled.
