App reserved for the Volunteers of the SIdP ETS Foundation which allows them to monitor and schedule activities and collect data on the meeting between Volunteers and Care-givers and between Volunteers and Users of people with autism.
This project aims to help fragile people and in particular people suffering from pervasive developmental disorders to treat the health of the oral cavity by adopting correct lifestyles and correct oral hygiene methods. Oral care, which translates into the prevention of oral diseases, can drastically reduce the impact of tooth decay and periodontal diseases that require therapy. Most people affected by pervasive developmental disorders require assisted therapies, as they are not, or poorly, cooperative.
The SIdP Foundation has created a national "task force" (dentists and hygienists who are members of SIdP, Dentistry and Dental Hygiene students) which will interact with the numerous associations, centers and structures, present in all Italian cities, which deal with fragile people and in particular of people suffering from pervasive developmental disorders.
Volunteers are asked to donate a few hours of their time to develop the Project in the offices of the Associations of people with autism.
