Instant Reading is a tachistoscope, that is an instrument able to show a series of images or texts for a fixed time, which can be very short.
Currently the tachistoscope is mainly used for rehabilitation in the DSA (Learning Specific Disorders). Among the main purposes, the exercise and development of direct access to reading (also called lexical), that is the ability to globally recognize a written word by recalling it from its lexical repertoire. The exercises consist of lists of words, syllables and non-words, of which the app presents one element at a time, leaving it visible for a time set by the Operator (adjustable between fractions of a second and a few seconds).
Instant Reading offers over 130 lists, consisting of about twenty items each. Each list can be used for the preparation and administration of exercises with many possibilities of adjustment and customization of the parameters of execution, according to the characteristics of the reader and the objective to be obtained.
