The Castello Gamba App was created with the aim of making the experience of visiting the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of the Aosta Valley more accessible, complete and inclusive.

Thanks to the project "Culture without barriers: the Gamba Castle to touch, see and hear" financed under the PNRR Culture 4.0, it was possible to proceed with the design and development of an app capable of accompanying the discovery of the art of the Gamba Castle all categories of visitors, with particular attention to deaf and blind users.

In fact, the app, in addition to being translated into French and English, presents translations into LIS-Italian Sign Language, and descriptions specially developed for blind users and appropriately accompanied by tactile models of some works selected for each room.

Thanks to this new digital tool, Castello Gamba opens up to an even broader and more heterogeneous public, offering an inclusive and immersive museum experience capable of involving everyone in the numerous and varied activities of the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, an institution that since 2012 it has been in dialogue with the territory and, in particular, with the regional educational institutions.
