Jal Setu (जल सेतु) is a citizen-facing mobile app for Barmer district that makes water services simple and transparent. Discover nearby water points, see area-wise supply schedules, receive push alerts, and raise/track grievances with ease. This initiative is led by District Administration, Barmer, in collaboration with PHED Barmer, and sponsored by SUZLON.
Key features:
- Supply schedule: View water supply timings for the selected ward/zone with status badges such as On Time, Delayed, Cancelled, and Low Pressure.
- Water bodies near me: Find tanks, standposts, borewells, handpumps, and reservoirs on a map and list, sorted by distance and type; open detailed info with photos and directions.
- Alerts and notices: Get push notifications for planned maintenance, outages, restoration updates, and quality advisories; browse an in‑app Alerts center.
- Grievance redressal: File tickets for No Supply, Low Pressure, Leakage, Water Quality, Billing/Connection, and Others—attach photos, auto-capture location, and track SLA-bound resolution with status updates.
- Tickets & updates: Track Ticket ID, see the resolution timeline (Received → Assigned → In Progress → Resolved → Closed/Reopen), and receive chat-style updates from the team.
- Announcements: Read district notices, water conservation messages, and holiday supply patterns.
- Bilingual: Hindi (default) and English across the app.

Citizens of Barmer (OTP-based login) can file and track grievances, view schedules and alerts, and explore nearby water assets.
