Countries data are published by the United Nations (UN) periodically on the UNdata portal (data.un.org).

This application extracts 11 of them and to support pairwise comparison between countries in a simple and powerful visual way.

This application is a non-profit academic initiative.
This app uses images from NASA (nasa.gov)
We format values with 2 decimal cases.
We balance the tradeoff between currentness and coverage, for example if data from 2020 is only available for 10 countries, we would prefer to display data from 2019 if it is available for 150 countries; by doing this way we increase the chances establishing useful comparisons.
