If someone suffers an illness that require medications, it is important to keep track of the doses and to take the right dose on time. In some cases and medical conditions, skipping a dose, or even delaying the dose, can cause a serious harm to health. Now, HAKIM is the solution.
HAKIM is an Android based application designed to run on smart phones and tablets (in both Arabic and English languages). HAKIM designed to help us take care of ourselves and beloved ones.
You can set an infinite number of medications, and alarms for each medicine. A unique feature in HAKIM, is to link the medicine with its picture. You can take the picture of the medicine package or the pill itself, for example, or you can select a picture from your device to remind you with the medicine. This particularly of great importance to avoid forgetting which medicine shall be taken when. You will be notified whenever a dose is scheduled. The alarm will show the person that should take the medication and picture of that medicine, of course along with any information you have entered with respect to this medication. Even more, if a dose is skipped, a family member can be notified via SMS through your device that a dose has been skipped, by relating these drugs to certain patient and link that patient to a friend/family member. All this and a lot more functionalities.
