This app was developed as part of the Osaka University Life Design Innovation Research Center.
Utilizing sleep and activity data managed by Google Health Connect, it detects deviations in sleep habits, provides a questionnaire for easily assessing sleep disturbances, and presents information for improving quality sleep.
In addition, by registering their affiliation in the app using a QR code distributed to partner institutions, participants can make consultation appointments with the Lifestyle Counseling Center using a template tailored to their affiliation. This promotes early detection of sleep disorders and consultation.
To detect sleep disturbances, the app utilizes highly accurate sleep measurement data if users use a wearable device or sleep tracking app. If not, the app utilizes sleep estimation results based on step counts recorded by default in the Health app and smartphone usage history (Android only) recorded by the smartphone.
*This app requires permission to access Google Health Connect (to obtain sleep and step counts) and device usage history (to obtain app usage time).
Sleep estimation is based on the number of steps taken (when carrying a smartphone) and smartphone usage logs (Android only), so there may be significant discrepancies in accuracy. Furthermore, on days when sleep estimation is not performed well, such as when Google Fit is not installed, data access is not permitted, or there is no data in Health, a default value of 0:00-7:00 will be set. Users can also correct this, so please do so if there are any errors.
If you would like to help improve the estimation accuracy, please select "Yes" when launching the app or when prompted by "Confirm data transmission" in the side menu.
