Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum

The Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum was reopened on Saturday, November 22, 2014 after undergoing renovation work for about three years. During the construction period, we investigated the main building (former Asaka Palace) and various documents, and based on that, we also restored and restored it so that it was as close as possible to the original appearance at the moment.

We have opened an application for smartphones so that everyone can enjoy and understand the main building, which has become more and more attractive. You can see an overview of each room, explanations focusing on architectural materials and designs, etc. with images and texts, and you can also listen to explanations in Japanese and English with the audio guide function.
