This is an application that allows you to view the newspaper images of the morning and evening editions of the Hokkaido Shimbun and the morning editions of each region on your smartphone. You can see the page image in high-definition display.
The app is free, but you need to be registered as a member of "Hokkaido Shimbun Digital". For details, please check Doshin Digital.
・Every morning around 4:00 a.m., the page image for the day will be updated.
・Push notification of update will be sent around 7:00 am.
・You can view the past 7 days including the current day.
・You can enlarge and display small characters.
・Paper data can be saved and viewed even in an environment where the network is not connected.
・You can save your favorite articles with the clip function (up to 100 articles).
・Tap the icon to start the app.
・ After launching the app, select and tap the date and region (morning edition, central Hokkaido, southern Hokkaido, northern Hokkaido, eastern Hokkaido, separate printing, evening edition) to display the page image.
・Double-tap the page image screen to enlarge it in 4 steps. You can also zoom in and out by pinching.
・You can advance or return the page by tapping the "<" and ">" buttons displayed at the bottom of the screen. Or you can also flick the page (flip with your finger).
・Press the button at the bottom right of the screen to display the page list. You can switch to another paper image from this screen.
・If you select "Save" from the electronic newspaper list screen, you can download newspaper images by date and region (Morning edition, Central Hokkaido, Southern Hokkaido, Northern Hokkaido, Eastern Hokkaido, Reprint, Evening edition). Up to 7 files can be saved, and can be viewed even in an environment where the network is not connected.
・Some articles, photos, and advertisements will not be posted.
・Newspaper non-publishing days are not updated.
*Browsing requires communication, so we recommend using it in a Wi-Fi environment.
*Clipped articles may be deleted when you install the app again. Please note.
