【Product introduction】
"Three Languages [Yu]" is a learning app developed for the purpose of simultaneous contrastive and collaborative learning of Chinese and English for Japanese native speakers.
By comparing and contrasting the characteristics of the three languages, this learning app draws out similarities, differences, and commonalities between the languages that could not be seen in individual language learning, and allows you to learn Japanese, English, and Chinese by comparing and contrasting the characteristics of the three languages. We realize effective and efficient learning by building a difficult-to-obtain cognitive foundation.
Learners can freely choose learning topics from ``Learning pronunciation'' and ``Learning expressions''. The built-in waveform software for voice practice visualizes the pitch, slowness, and strength of the model voice and the learner's pronunciation, allowing for effective comparative learning.
[Main contents]
"Learning pronunciation" consists of the following items: "letters and spelling", "prosody" (accent/rhythm/intonation), and "basic pronunciation (vowels/consonants)". While clarifying the similarities and differences, we place emphasis on cultivating the physicality and mobility needed to produce sounds, such as training the muscles that move the pronunciation organs (tongue muscles, mouth muscles), and command power (nerves) to move them. Masu.
"Learning expressions" involves learning grammar and idiomatic expressions. Through topic learning (short essays and dialogue questions and answers) that expands from things about yourself to things around you, society, and the world, you can learn about the differences in thinking and cultural differences between Japan, China, and England, and express your own ideas. I will develop the strength to do so.
[Academic evaluation]
The Japanese, English, and Japanese trilingual simultaneous contrastive learning method and system proposed by this app will realize a new type of multilingual learning that is not available in current multilingual learning apps that are based on a monolingual type.
Monolingual multilingual learning parallelizes individual language learning for each language (octopus pot type), but multilingual comparative collaborative learning involves learning multiple languages such as language learning experiences and language abilities that cannot be reduced to individual languages. We aim to recognize and evaluate resources, utilize and activate them. Monolingual multilingual learning, such as acquiring the physicality (movement) to distinguish the pronunciations of multiple languages, and developing integrated language skills (language) that can link individual language skills and use them effectively. We believe that interest in integrated language abilities and language resources, which are difficult to be aware of, will lead to a new type of multilingual learning centered on learners who are not divided by language barriers.
