In his book "Fushikaden," Zeami, a master of Noh, emphasized the importance of "jisettsukanto."
"Jisetsukanto" means "expression appropriate to the situation at the time."
This concept is not only important in Noh, but in Japanese traditional performing arts in general.
In art and expression, one is required to be sensitive to the situation and flow of the time.
Radio and television broadcasts both in Japan and abroad encourage people to "search" and "look things up on their smartphones" every day.
However, it takes time for actual listeners and viewers to search and find the information they want with a smartphone in hand.
The first "+Syncro" app was completed in 2019.
At a time when the broadcasting industry around the world was racing to develop a way to link information between radio and television broadcasts and smartphones, we obtained a patent ahead of the rest and completed the app.
By syncing the "+Syncro" app with radio broadcasts, we hope to have listeners "concentrate solely on the radio" (single-tasking) and create an entirely new type of radio program.
For example, photos and videos will be displayed simultaneously in the app of listeners who have the app open while listening to the radio, allowing them to comment on them in a style similar to a comedy show.
Without DJs having to say "search for it," we can deliver the information we want to share with listeners, without the time and effort it would take to search.
This is what we call "seasonal" in today's world.
